[Gokudera knows that it's embarrassing for them to be seen like this, but he's sure his plan will work. Everything will be fine! He gives Tsuna's hand a comforting squeeze.]

[flustered, he squeezes back]

[time to find a perverted doctor]

[Gokudera starts to whistle as they walk. It's a nice day and he doesn't mind holding hands with the Tenth. Most people don't seem to notice... but if anyone says anything he'll glare at them. That should shut them up. If it doesn't he still has dynamite.]

[Feeling kind of awkward as he walks down the street hand in hand with Gokudera. A little too aware of the people who are staring but he does his best to ignore them]

[Gokudera ends up glaring at a lot of them, but he doesn't use the dynamite. Once they get closer to the Nurse's office he slows down and walks quietly. It won't be good if Shamal catches them like this, then they'll have no change of fooling him later. Gokudera opens the door silently and peeks in. Then he turns back to Tsuna and whispers.]

He's there, Tenth. What do you want to do now?

[reluctant10th]

[whispers back nervously]

W-Well, I-I guess we could try but there's still a chance he'll figure it out pretty quickly and then he'd never help out.

[isthebomb]

But if we don't do anything, we'll be stuck like this. We might as well give it a try.

[reluctant10th]

[he resists the urge to slam his head against the wall]

F-Fine. We'll try it.

[isthebomb]

[Gokudera closes the door and starts walking down the hall.]

We could get them at the store... or if you don't have any money we could ask Haru. She dresses up in strange outfits all the time so it probably wouldn't bother her at all.

[reluctant10th]

[definite awkward at the store with a bunch of strangers or definite awkward with Haru...lets go with the latter]

...m-maybe Haru has something. W-We can pretend it's for a project or something,

Okay, Tenth. I'm sure she'll understand.

[Or not. Maybe Gokudera actually wants her to see them like this. Then she'll get to see exactly who is closest to the Tenth! Anyway, he knows where she lives so he starts walking.]

[You and your ulterior motives, Gokudera. And Tsuna has no choice but to follow, hoping that Haru would be completely okay with this. If worse came to worse, they could always raid the old clothes his mother had thrown out even if they would still have issues with finding a wig]

You really think she wont mind?

Of course not! I'm sure she'll be happy to help!

[It'll give her a chance to show off her costume making skills, so if they can get her to focus on that everything should be fine, right? Gokudera will just march right up to her house and knock on the door.]

Well, here goes.

[waaaaaiting for the door to open. Hopefully her parents wouldn't be the ones to answer the door because that would be kind of awkward]

[Luck is on their side, because Haru answers the door. She seems a bit surprised and lets out a soft "Hahi" when she notices that they're holding hands. The Tenth seems embarrassed, so Gokudera talks first.]

Haru, we need to borrow some clothes. [He was going to leave it at that, but it sounds weird. he decides to make up an excuse.] It's for cosplay! Right Tenth?

[reluctant10th]

[Tsuna smiles brightly at her, trying to distract her]

Sorry Haru, for just dropping in on you like this but yeah, we need clothes for a cosplay. I-It's for a project you see...a-and it has to be something that I can put on without letting go of Gokudera's hand.

[Giving Gokudera a suspicious look, she turns all of her attention to Tsuna and beams, taking her mind off their hand holding for now. "Well, if it's for Tsuna-san, come on in. Haru has loads of cute costumes Tsuna-san can try on. What do you need?" She steps back from the door way to let them through.]

[When Haru gives him that suspicious look Gokudera glares right back at her and holds the Tenth's hand protectively. It's not his fault they ended up like this. She'd better not cause any trouble.

The Tenth is good with girls, so Gokudera steps back and lets him do all the talking. He follows Tsuna into Haru's house, but tries to stay as far away from her as he can... which is sort of awkward while he's holding the hand of the Tenth and the Tenth is trying to talk to her.]

I-I need a dress and a wig

[Tsuna explains and Haru nods, looking thoughtful. Then Haru grabs his other hand and he kind of feels like he's in the middle of a tug of war match right now, with the grumpy looks Haru shoots Gokudera occasionally as they head up the stairs. Suddenly she comes to a stop and puts her arms on her hips.

"I've got just the thing for Tsuna-san, so Tsuna-san can come in but Gokudera-san isn't allowed in my room at all! He has to stay outside!"

Tsuna squawks]

W-Wait, I-I can't--

[isthebomb]

It's okay, Tenth. I don't want to go into her nasty room anyway! So I'll stay out here and hold your hand through the door.

[Gokudera glares back at Haru. At this point he doesn't care if she thinks that he's forcing the Tenth to hold his hand. In fact, he wants her to think that. He won't let her take the Tenth away from him!]

[reluctant10th]

["MY ROOM ISN'T NASTY!" Haru explodes before dragging Tsuna inside and shutting the door almost all the way. "Wait here, Haru has got just the thing! Hm...no, not right, maybe this--no, you wont be able to get it on, this one is good, and this goes with it, here you go Tsuna-san, you have to wear it like this, and--"

Haru's rambles continue on as Tsuna yelps and squeaks with every new article of clothing she forces on him. This might take awhile]

[Gokudera can handle being dragged around and nearly having the door slammed on him, but when he hears Tsuna making those sounds he gets worried.] T-tenth! Are you all right?! [He tries to peek into the room, but he can't see much. Since he doesn't know what's going on he automatically assumes it's something bad.] Don't do anything embarrassing, you stupid girl!

[reluctant10th]

I-I'm fine--HARU WHAT ARE YOU--THAT KIND OF THING-

["But Tsuna-san, you said you needed to put on an outfit you could wear without letting go of that boy's hand, right?" "M-My clothes--"
and suddenly the door swings open and Haru shoves Tsuna back out with a proud smile, Tsuna stumbles, yelping as he wobbles on the heels, smoothing out long brown hair nervously. "There! Tsuna-san looks good in anything ♥"]

[Wow. Gokudera gapes.] H-he really does! [Not that Gokudera ever doubted it! No, not for a minute. But to see the Tenth dressed like that, well... it's more than he was expecting. It helps a lot to have a woman's touch. Haru really went all out with the shoes, the hair, and everything. And here Gokudera was just expecting to see Tsuna in a dress.]

You really look like a girl, Tenth!

[reluctant10th]

[and she was still fussing a little, smoothing out the fashionable red cape that went with the red dress (to draw attention away from his shoulders. while they weren't as broad as Yamamoto's or even Gokudera's, they were still a bit more masculine than your average cute girl).

Tsuna blanches a little and resists the urge to rub at his face(was make up really necessary)]

...t-that's not really something I want to hear...

[then he turns back to Haru]

T-Thanks for helping us out with our project Haru. I'll wash these and return them to you when we're done.

["Okay Tsuna-san! Good luck!" And out they go again]

He's enjoying this waaay too much...

[Okay, the cape is a little weird, but the makeup definitely helps. Gokudera stares at the Tenth for a little while longer as they walk away, admiring Haru's handiwork. It was a great idea to go to her for help and he has to pat himself on the back for suggesting it. There's no way they could've done all of this on their own.]

But Tenth, that's a good thing! We won't have any trouble fooling Shamal if he sees you like this! [Heck, if Gokudera hadn't been holding Tsuna's hand the entire time, he might not even recognize the Tenth! So there's no way Shamal could suspect anything.] I hate to admit it, but she did a great job. You look really cute!
