[Okay, the cape is a little weird, but the makeup definitely helps. Gokudera stares at the Tenth for a little while longer as they walk away, admiring Haru's handiwork. It was a great idea to go to her for help and he has to pat himself on the back for suggesting it. There's no way they could've done all of this on their own.]

But Tenth, that's a good thing! We won't have any trouble fooling Shamal if he sees you like this! [Heck, if Gokudera hadn't been holding Tsuna's hand the entire time, he might not even recognize the Tenth! So there's no way Shamal could suspect anything.] I hate to admit it, but she did a great job. You look really cute!

[He wish he could slap his forehead. But Haru kept glaring at him every time he tried rubbing at his face and he didn't want to get the clothes dirty, so he refrained]

Tsuna flushed, gripping Gokudera's hand tightly as he tried keeping balance in his heels (Tsuna they were only kitten heels, what is wrong with you)]

[That perverted old man needs to learn to keep his hands off people anyway. There's no way Gokudera would let him embarrass the Tenth, even if he is an old friend. Shamal is kind of a pain sometimes, but he really is a good doctor.

Gokudera holds Tsuna's hand and walks slow and steady, helping him keep his balance on those heels. The bomber is careful to look where they're going and avoid any obstacles the Tenth might trip over. He doesn't pay any mind to the people they walk past. He's too busy thinking about what comes next. They should be able to pull this off as long as they're careful. It might not work if Shamal hears the Tenth's voice though.]

Tenth, once we're there, don't say anything. Let me do the talking. It'll make you seem more feminine if you act shy.

[Tsuna nods rapidly, keeping his eyes focused on the ground. He didn't want to trip over anything]

R-Right. Don't think I could change my voice anyway.

[Nothing can make Gokudera as happy as seeing the Tenth smile. It's even better when he knows that he's the one who caused it. He's doing a good job protecting the Tenth! So he can't help but grin a little as he walks.

Unfortunately, he is no longer paying any attention to where he is going. There's a crack in the pavement ahead of Tsuna, and in a few more steps Gokudera will walk right into a trash can.]

[yeah, cracks in the ground and Tsuna do not get on.

GOING DOWN with a strangled yelp]

TENTH!!

[...and Gokudera goes down too since can't let go of Tsuna'a hand. It pulls him away from the trashcan and down to the concrete. He manages to land on his arms instead of his face, but he still feels awful. This is all his fault!]

I'M SORRY TENTH!! [He bows so low that his forehead almost touches the concrete.] I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION!!

G-gokudera-kun, get up! People are looking.

[he whisper shrieks, trying to tug him back up. Unlike Gokudera, Tsuna managed to land on his face but he didn't feel like he was bleeding any where, so it should be fine]

I-It's not your fault, I'm the one that tripped and dragged you down!

[Gokudera gets up and glares at all the people who are staring. They'd better back down or they'll get a stick of dynamite to the face. Fortunately, the glare seems to work so he doesn't have to use the dynamite.]

[he smiles, reassuring him. He uses his free hand to make sure his wig hadn't been jarred when he tripped.]

Come on, lets go before Shamal leaves.

Right! [Gokudera marches over to the nurse's office, taking extra care to watch where they're going. Once they've arrived he bursts in and yells.]

Dr. Shamal, we need your help!

[Shamal looks at them and says, "What's this? Has little Hayato has finally found himself a girl?!" He leers at Tsuna. Gokudera interrupts.]

Never mind that! We ate this weird candy and our hands got stuck together! Can't you do anything?!

[It's not that hard to play the part of a shy young girl. Tsuna blanches and ducks his head, letting his hair fall in front of his face, biting back the urge to say something. He merely holds up his hand and shows Shamal just how stuck they were]

[Unfortunately, Tsuna's shyness only seems to make Shamal more interested. "Hey, she's really cute!" Shamal lunges toward Tsuna, but Gokudera jumps in and pushes him away.]

Don't touch her, you dirty old man!

[Shamal backs off and pouts a little. "You're really protective of her, aren't you Hayato? You're not in love with her, are you?"]

WH-WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!

[Gokudera blushes furiously. He was trying to deny that he's in love with anyone, but Shamal seems to have interpreted the words differently. There's a big smirk on the perverted doctor's face. He's probably taking it as a confession.]

[Oh no-- he yelps a little when Gokudera jumps in, his arm dragged along with him. He bites back a sigh when Shamal asks that question. If only Shamal knew...

Of course they were here for a reason so he gives an insistent tug on their hands. Remember what they were here for Gokudera!]

[He remembers! It's just that what Shamal said was so embarrassing...]

Listen up, you perverted old man! We need your help get our hands unstuck!

[Shamal shakes his head and says in a chastising tone, "Hayato, I'm surprised at you. You finally found a nice girl who's willing to put up with all your faults... and the first thing you want to do is let her go?"]

WHA-?! N-no, that's not it! She's really shy, okay? It'll embarrass her if we have to walk around like this!

[Again, it seems like Shamal isn't buying it. Either that, or he's determined to keep them holding hands as long as possible. "This is why I say that kids don't understand romance. You didn't consider her feelings at all, did you? The reason she's acting shy is because she likes you."]

[GOD WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM FRIENDS ANYWAY SHAMAL. Oh wait, he was pretending to be a girl now, things were different. He shakes his head frantically. THAT ISN'T IT AT ALL.

He yanks up their hands and making sure Shamal can see, attempts to pull away only his hand doesn't budge an inch. ]

[Shamal laughs at Tsuna's attempts. He probably thinks 'she' is playing coy. "So cute." He grins and puts one hand on Tsuna's shoulder and the other on Gokudera's. "Here's an idea, why don't you two go on a date? I'm sure the condition will resolve itself when the date is over."]

A DATE?! [Gokudera is freaking out. That means they'd have to go out in public. Together. Again.] Will that... really fix it?!

["Take her to a movie or a nice, romantic dinner~" He turns them around and pushes them toward the exit. Just before they leave the room Shamal whispers in Gokudera's ear, "Oh, and Hayato... when your hand comes unstuck reach behind her and..." Shamal makes a groping motion.

Gokudera jumps, utters a strangled cry, and runs out the door as fast as his legs can carry him.]

[WHAT IS SHAMAL SAYING THAT CAN'T BE THE ANSWER RIGHT?! It's a good thing Gokudera is quick to run away - the protest forming on his lips dies off to a slight shriek of surprise as he's dragged down the hallway, stumbling after him]

Gokudera-kun, slow down!

[Gokudera skids to a halt and turns toward his boss. He can't prostrate himself on the ground while they're holding hands, but he bends at the waist and bows down as far as he can. This is all his fault!]

SORRY TENTH!! I was sure Shamal would help, because he always helps girls! But, I was wrong...

[He's so embarrassed, and a little disappointed in Shamal. What the fuck was that perverted old man thinking?!]

[Tsuna sighs and rubs the back of his head with his free hand]

It was worth a shot anyway. [even if he's feeling a bit miffed he crossdressed for no reason] He did tell us what we should do but...

[Gokudera will go along with whatever his boss decides. Afterall, he doesn't really care what other people think of him. Tsuna is the one who will be affected by it the most, so he should get the final say.]

I want to get our hands unstuck, but going on a date will be even more embarrassing than walking around in public.

I--I don't know. I mean, I want to get unstuck too but Shamal's suggestion was so weird. I guess a movie would be a normal thing to go to and the only thing different would be the fact that our hands are stuck together--

And a movie is a good idea. Once we get into the theater it'll be too dark to see anything, and people will be paying attention to the screen anyway. Let's do it, Tenth!
